Summer Fun: The 4th, Rose Festival and other adventures

4th of July night. 

We ventured out to watch the fireworks at Oak Hills. Jack hid behind my chair for most of the show. 

Amelie playing with Decklin in the ball pit pool. Great outdoor summer fun for babies who are mobile but not walking yet. They love it.

At the Rose Parade

Jack really wanted to go on this Peet's Dragon ride at the Rose Festival. He got on and was so proud of himself for riding the dragon.

 But after one time around the ride operator had to stop the ride and ask the crowd of parents who had the kid on the dragon and Mike raised his hand while I stood crying from nervous laughter.

After that Jack rode a mellow ride where he just had to steer the Jeep if he wanted to. But he didn't want to do any more ride after that. Priceless moment. 

Jack loves dog and sticks as you can see. Walks are a favorite too. I like these photos because they show what I big boy Jack is these days. He loves the summer since it means getting to play outside.
