Fun in the sun and the rain

We've had friends in town these past few days from Atlanta. Jack had a playmate, almost 2 year old Ryan. We seemed to be buzin all over the whole time. Enjoyed the good weather, found fun things to do in the rain and even had some adult only time.

What fun we had when the sun came out. Jack has discovered that he loves the idea of summer.
He loves fudge sickles.

He loves pool time with friends!
Can you tell these boys are bummed and tired of the rain? Sun...come back!
So we packed the kids up in the rented mini van (that Mike wants to buy now...ahhh) and went to the Children's Museum for the day.

I think the water room was their favorite, splashing and discovering how the water moves through the cool contraptions.

The dig pit was fun but Jack didn't like how we could not put anything in his mouth and he had trouble getting around on the rocky ground.
He liked the art studio but again, wanted to put the clay in his mouth.

Jack's favorite seemed to be the crawl tube and so did Ryan. He just would not stop going back to it and since he could technically walk through it...he did.
And loved every minute of it.

We had a blast in wine country. I just can't wait until I can actually partake.

What people will do for a pumpkin

Does anyone watch the how LITTLE PEOPLE, BIG WORLD? Well thanks to the show this pumpkin patch is buzzin with anxious perfect pumpkin hunters at this time of year. We had such a great time with the two baby girls who I am sure had no idea what was going on. We waiting in a long line of cars just to park, then waited for tickets and waited in line. We were at the pumpkin patch for 4 hours. We took the Roloff Farm tour on the tractor drawn carts, searched for pumpkins and visited the petting zoo. I can't wait until our little boy arrives as I am already looking for a Halloween costume for next year. Does anyone plan on having a Halloween party this year?

Get togethers

Just some fun weekend shots with our friends. Ozzy and Kelly 1st and Chris and Sheena next.

It‘s always fun to share a yummy meal with good friend and have good drinks! I wanted the bright mango daiquiris to pop out of the photo with Sheena and my martini glasses and they did! Yes! Most of the time, I won’t make a point to get a photo with these friends because we just see them so dang much. But what the heck…got’a capture the moment every once and awhile. Right? Love the weekends!
