Amelie is full of a vibrate, positive energy. She is a very happy baby girl. She does live up to her name which also means Striving or hardworker and has always tried to keep up with her brother who is 16 months older. But try as she has, Amee is just now walking at 1 year where as Jack was walking by 9 months. 

Amelie was born on a hot summer day - July 14th - Bastille Day (French Independence Day). We picked her name (I mean I picked it) because it seemed perfect that she would have a French name and be born on the big holiday in France. 

Amelie's favorite sounds are baabaa - dada - duuu - mama - laalaa. She loves to be tickled and made the laugh and she does. It is a fun giggle. She is also loud when needed to get her point across. She has been called the fog horn. Ouch! But she has to compete with two parents who are trying to talk over Jack too. She loves to compete with Jack.

Amelie has the most stunning blue eyes. She is looking more and more like Jack as she gets past the baby months. 

She loves to be outside and eat all the edible flowers we have planted in the back yard.

6 months to 1 year (January June)

Spring and Summer has brought loads of fun moments with Amelie at the park, outside and discovering the world around her.
