Jack is TWO!

Click on the photo to make it bigger.
JACK: 12-18 months
Our baby turned into a toddler during these months. We went from watching him learn to walk to learning to express himself and really explore. During the Spring and Summer months Jack loved to be outside (ouw-siee is how he pronounced it). Tons of pool time, bubbles and water fun. During these months he also started to learn to use a sippy cup and discovered popsickles (sickle, sickle). What fun!
JACK: 18-24 months
Jack was actually 17 months when his new baby sister came into his life. He loved her from first sight. Always giving kisses and being "gentle". But he was still all boy and so he loved to be with his daddy, wrestling, playing, cooking and exploring. During these months Jack had his 2nd Halloween and actually tricker-treated as a little pirate. His 2nd Christmas he learned to open presents and it got him ready for his 2nd Birthday where he opened lots of presents.

Jack's birthday party was a blast! He turned 2 on February 25th. He loved everything, balloons, cake, presents, friends and being sung to. He learned to sing Happy Birthday to himself too.

Some of our favorite things about Jack right now are:

* He has nicknamed himself Du-EE (Dewee) - not sure why but that's what he calls himself
* He is saying TONS of words: favorites being Rhino, Nemo, Fox/Hound, Hot Chocolate, Papa and Amee (Amelie), Car, Truck, Happy, Shoes, Walk, Ball, 1, 2, Threeeee, Red, and Bye Bye
* He loves his Gran, Oma (Grandma) and Papa and Aunt Meg: he Skype's with them all the time and loves the puppets they play with over Skype too
* He LOVES dogs and animals of all kinds and can match the whole Alphabet worth of animals - babies to mamas, he knows how to say so many animals names and all their sounds
* He LOVES the Mini Cooper and really any cars or trucks. He will say, CAR, KEYS, SHOES, DADA…GO GO GO, NOW!
*He says I love you by saying "You..You. or Luuv You."
JACKSON we L.O.V.E. You you you.
