Time with Opa & Oma | Our Little Getaway

We know Jack had a blast this weekend with his grandparents. It was his first 2 nights away from mom and dad and we think it was harder for us than it was for him. He was kept very busy.

Jack LOVES doggies. He sometimes say "daug" and "ouff".
Mom and dad are working on the yard, transforming the already wonderful property into a dreamy wedding destination. Jack of course had to help, as much as he could, of course.
In between all the work there had to be some play. And Jack loves to play. Being swung around causes the most gleeful sounds and squeals. Plus being with Opa always makes for fun.
Jack was "helping" move lots of rocks. All the while saying "I'm so strong, right?."
Our weekend was spent in a far more tranquil state of mind. Salashan provided a wonderful setting for a few days of R&R. We haven't left Jack since he was born and you'd think we would have made a point to get away before now. Jack is now too old to sleep in the room with us so we enjoyed the date time on our own.
Mike must have spent at least an our a day flying his kite. We got massages, spent time in the hot tub, went to the beach, eat wondeful seafood and have lots of time by the fire. The belly bump is starting to potrude noticiably.

Finally, I got up the guts to take a bump photo. We are crossing the 6 month mark. WooHoo. More than 1/2 way through.
