Spainish Tapas, Paella and a lot of wine!! Special guests: Jeff & Amy, Jeff & Rachel, Elena, Allen & Eryn and Ozzy & Kelly.
We did miss a few of our favorite peps, due to the nasty cold roaming around but it was still a great time of fun, good eats and random conversations. Jeff won the most astute wine taster and the girls won the Taboo game. We will have to do this again soon.
Fun Fact: Tapas - tapa or Spanish for "lid" was created by the slice of bread that an innkeeper would thoughtfully place on the customer’s wine glass to keep the flies and dust out between sips. Many tapas specialties are meat or cheeses on a slice of bread.

What is a tapa? Dinner party looks like great fun.
Tapas is Spanish style appetizers eaten from 2-6pm. Mike and I kind of decided to have the dinner party with a Spanish theme with some of the dishes that we had while in Spain. Tapas means (little bites) and Spaniards have lots of these little bites in the afternoon like happy hour food. This tides them over so they can eat dinner at 8-9-10pm. Can you believe they eat that late? Anyway some Tapas is kind of strange like anchovies on toast, tuna fish salad with bread sticks, olives in wine. Etc.
