For anyone who has ever potty training you know that it is TOUGH! We tried potty training with Jack when he was 24 months and he would occasionally go on the potty when we "tried" and sometimes even do #2 in the AM or PM but it wasn't until out trip to Atlanta were we heard about the hard core 3 DAY intense potty training (Thanks AJ/Stephanie!). This is Jack pre - 3 DAY intense potty training.
These are real faces from the intense 3 day potty training that we did over the 4th of July weekend. Yes, it has taken me that long to post this but I also wanted to be sure we were in the clear and not having accidents.
In this training you basically follow your child around everywhere waiting to catch them in the act of going in their pants. You have to be vigilant. but it is worth it.
You do reward but you don't make a big deal of it. Just casually give the treat of choice after the business is done.
I have to admit that this was almost 2 months ago and it has taken me this long to post. But we are proud to say that Jack is officially potty trained. Hurrah!!
