What's it like to have two kids 16 months apart? FUN! They are such great friends (most of the time). But honestly, Jack and Amelie play all the time with each other and now that Amee is getting bigger and is SO social it is really getting interesting and fun to watch. They are just precious together when they play these little game like these pictures capture the fun between the glass.

Jack was pretending to nibble on Amee's fingers and she would just watch him and then laugh and laugh. This fascination with fingers in the mouth turned out badly tonight when Jack actually bit Amelie's finger. I gave him a good swat and told him "Jack we take bitting sissy very seriously". I know he understood and hopefully it won't happen again.

On the note that these two are friends, Jack really watches out for Amee most of the of time. When we were at the park he would be running around playing but would come back to our blanket to say hi to Amee every once and awhile. He is normally he is fairly careful around her too, making sure she is ok until it is time for "tickle tickle time" Then he sits on her and she loves it. I wish I had a good picture of that.
We will ask Jack to give Amee a "love" and he will hug and/or kiss her. So sweet!

Jack loves to be around other kids. His friend Addie was eating a cupcake but Jack prefers chips if he is going to get a special treat. I think he was thinking about trying to ask her for a bit though.

Both Jack and Amee loves the bubble machine. I just had to share this shot of her reaching out for a bubble while one was popping as if in slow motion. I was sharing recently with a friend how happy we are that we have 2. It is more work for sure but somehow it almost seems easier in the long run to change 2 diapers if you have to change one, or feed both kiddos together since they are a mostly the same things. And it is such a joy to see them being friends and learning and exploring together.
