We had Halloween with Marta and her friend from Spain, Roser. It was a blast to get to see the students pass out our candy to the trick-r-treaters.
Jack and his oldest friend Addie.
Jack is his alligator costume.
After our night of treating the little kids and amusing ourselves with Jack's little gator attitude I took the students to Stateworld for some good ol' roller skating. Back in Spain Marta (middle) was a champion figure roller skater at the high school level. So it was fun to see her moves in action. Jack grown leaps and bounds in the past month. He went from kinda crawling to cruising. Then pulling up to starting to stand unassisted (for like 3 seconds). He is eating all kinds of pureed foods, like chicken, chickpeas, pumpkin, rice and all fruits/vegies. We love his newest trick which is the "fish face" which he does all the time.
He is such a happy camper. Loves to get into EVERYTHING. At his 7 month doctor appointment he weighted 17.6 lb and was 27 inches long. He has been really healthy this past month, which is great! We have moved him from Nike Day Care to an in home day care where he plays with 2 brothers and has his own sleep room. It has been really great to have him in home care again. We are gearing up for the winter ahead and as such have been really looking forward to (hopefully) snuggling in with Jack for the winter (which means we will have to teach Jack to snuggle since he is SO independent). Blessings to you until next time.
