This was our 4th picture, terrible, I know. We watched fireworks in Sandy with my family and thought to try to get a quick photo. Yikes. Didn't turn out.
Many of my spring garden projects are now in full bloom. My hydranga plant is absolutely wonderful and has pinks and purples coming through the origional green petels.
My favorite herb is basil and I grow it from seed each year. I baby it, big time. But it pays off with lush organic leaves for us to enjoy all summer and fall.
And the basil will go great with my home grown tomatoes. They have also gone crazy since the summer heat hit.
Just wanted to share in my simple pleasues...from around my yard.
